A blend of 68% Zinfandel, 20% Carignane, 10% Petite Sirah and 2% Alicante Bouschet. Deep Ruby, complex, yet delicate with aromas of dark fruits, spice and earthy notes. On the palate flavors of plum and cherry with smoky oak, pepper and cacao wrapped in generous acidity. Fine sweet tannins, long finish, great structure ending with fruit, cedar, spice and slight earthy tones. Nice!

Feb 8th, 2022Rich blackberry aromas are prominent with some underlying vanilla notes. Bright fruity acidity, ripe blackberries, a smooth medium body, oak and vanilla, medium tannins. Extremely well balanced.

This baby was given 3 hours in crystal. In classic ridge style the big Cali bomber came off with unexpected elegance. Red berry and supple tannins this wine would be great to watch evolve over the next 10 years.
