Deep ruby in color. Rubber, plum, black cherry, molasses, and oak on the nose. Rubber, pepper, dark fruit, and molasses on the palate. Smooth tannins and mild acidity, the mouthfeel is underwhelming. Rubbery, bitter, and hot finish whose only redeeming quality is a hint of vanilla and molasses at the very tail end.
