I have been waiting for this wine since I learned the word "steen". This really is the realness. A South African Chenin that tastes completely different from Loire but doesn't... Suck like many steens do when compared to Loire. Moderate+ acid (high would have put this at a 9.7), florality, focus, fortitude, fresh and just a hint of funk. A great example of old vines adding depth.
