Tonight with homemade pizza using a YUGE heirloom tomato as part of the base, this good, not great, Dry Creek Valley Zin, some raspberry, but as this has aged, the alcohol is too dominant for me (14.9%) as the fruit has dropped, good Zin.

Old vine Dry Creek Zinfandel (which I LOVE), but the effusive raspberry that is always there is somewhat candied and doesn’t taste as fresh as it should, this is OK, but fading quickly from where it was a year or so ago!!
