Nice little Grenache. 2011 that I found hiding has mellowed. Not so hot as when I first had it young.

Out of my normal box with this. Nice, different, was good with the lamb chops.

Corked bottle. Faded brink color, off aromas and flavors a warm soy. Down the drain it went 😬

Deep ruddy purple. Alcohol, cocoa, and blackberry jam aromas. Cherry upfront, followed by raspberry, chocolate, and leather. Slight alcohol burn on the finish. Ample tannins. Great with a ribeye.

Blackberry cobbler, chocolate and plumb. It's a beast-in-a-bottle. Looking forward to day 2. EDIT: Day 3 - Has opened up nicely; much more velvety and smooth.
