Oxidative in style? More sediment than I’ve seen in a bottle ever? Not sure what to make of this completely. Good but seemed like it was 10+ years more advanced than it should be.

May be leather and faint roses on the nose. Light in color. Quite a bit of tannins left but I would say drink now. Morello cherries which faded the next day replaced by lavender some might say violets. I buy this producer every year.

What can I say I met Silvio in Piedmont at his winery I love the guy! As a Nebbiolo fan one has to know these very reasonably priced gems. I buy this producer every year he is solid. Wine first closed then opens up to a beautiful bouquet of rose pedals leather and overripe figs. Light in color as a Nebbiolo should be. Tannin have mellowed out beautifully. Very dark ripe cherry and plum on the palate. Ultra classic producer no barrique/air conditioning in the cellar under the house were the family lives. Great stuff. Rating a little lower since this was a tough year for the region and this is a drink now wine.
