Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

Haven’t had this in a looong time not quite as good as I remember. The citrus is duller than I like maybe the bottle is a little off.

Citrus and tropical fruit but not the typical grapefruit minerality of a NZ SB. Hints of Chardonnay notes. Tasty and easy to drink.

Crisp, but a bit thin. Does not hold up to spicy food. Lots of pineapple notes, some green grass notes.

Yeah, this does it for me. Young and zesty, mineral, with upbeat acidity. Very proper, well composed. Short finish. Cheers.
