Dark ruby in color with a short purple rim.
Fruity nose of blackberries, sweet cherries, dried fruits, raisins, vanilla, cedar, licorice, cloves, earth, leather, tobacco, cola, black pepper, spices and chocolates.
Full bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and very fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, sweet cherries, raisins, vanilla, leather, cedar, licorice, cola, mocha, herbs, earth, tobacco leaf, spices, graphite and peppercorn.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a very tasty Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. Showing nice complexity with a great mouthfeel.
Already drinking beautifully, but still young and needs 5 to 10 years of bottle time to mature properly.
Good right out of the bottle, and a little better after 2 hours of airtime, when more complexity comes in.
A great sipping wine. No need for food here 😊
This 8 year old from the great 2013 vintage is tasty delicious.

Well that was a weird bottle. Smelled amazing and tasted very off, no TCA or anything like it, difficult to describe. It had a layer of very tart tannin-like overlaying flavor that was not good. Left it open for 24 hours and it was much improved. After 48 hours it was a nice bottle of CA cab. Clearly something off with this bottle and the 9.2 rating is a 9.1 from day 3 and some add for ‘not typical’. I had high hopes for this wine and don’t think I have had a fair sampling of it
