I’ve tried 2 bottles of this. The first was ordinary, slightly tart. The second was pretty great at the $10 price point, not big but very straightforward with notes that are rosy and faintly lavender but that don’t in any way turn this wine baroque or sweet. Enjoyed it one night with Brussels sprouts and the next night with Mac and cheese with salami, worked well with both. At $10 this is a good choice—based on the second bottle.

So good, bursting with flavour and mystery. There is a lot going on but it’s not over complex, just mysterious. I can’t put my finger on the notes. Just buy it...ok.
