Blackberry, wet humus, olive, crushed rose petals. It's fun to taste wines that sorta act like a Pinot, but wield some pretty fruit/earth/spice balance in different ways, and with sneaky tannins. Damn, son. This is nice.

Kind of unpleasant when I first opened it, but the next day it softened and the nose turned more dusty clay and floral

Got lots of ginger spice, mineral, dark ripe fruit, earthy forest floor and herbs. Nice acidity and tannins. Noms. $18.99 from Wally's Wine Club.
