Martinenga Barbaresco Nebbiolo

Opened a bottle in memory of my lost friend, Gino. This wine pleases with dry and chewy tannins balanced with cherry and currant. Little hints of licorice and spearmint. Gino would have loved this bottle ❤️🍷🕊

Delicious; light bodied, strong tannins; flavors of black tea, lapsang souchong, dried herbs, red fruits

Intense and delicate at the same time long finish

Табак, замша, очень много дробленого камня, минеральность. Насыщенный и элегантный, вкус полный, с легкой горчинкой, суховатыми танинами. Очень ягодный, брусника, рябина, клубника. Послевкусие умеренно-долгое. 16/20 (90/100)

Seemingly compromised by heat. Venison Cube steaks cooked sous-vide were excellent though.

Youngest wine on the table by 5 years. Too much tannin after too much old wine to really know what was happening here

Really good. Perfectly aged.
