I have to tell say this is one of the best ones I've had in a long time it comes from the Piedmont area of Italy It is 100% Merlot, but unlike any Merlot that you may tried before. It has a very slight hint of raspberry and Plum and a little more obvious is ripe Cherry but what really stands out is a leathery smokey flavor soft tannins interesting wine to be sure
