Turns out super well made Amarone is ideal match for Texas smoked brisket and ribs. Dense, layered and oh, so smooth. No clue where itโ€™s hiding 17% alcohol. In a sweet spot with 30 minute decant. ๐Ÿ™ @Michael Aronovici

Dark garnet, dark plum, fig, raisins and licorice. Full bodied, crisp and smooth. Light soft tannins, semi sweet not coy. After setting 30-60 minutes picked up chocolate and baseball glove leather. Impressive, elegant and terrific.

Dark purple / blood red. Sweet dark cherries and spices with lingering ripe black plums. A suggestion of tannins and acidity. A smooth bittersweet peppery finish.
