This 2001 Tor West Block is being poured by Tor himself at “From the Cellar” event at Pebble Beach Food & Wine was my favorite red from this particular event.
Tor is humble and a great Napa Ambassador. If you like Napa history, his book is a good read.
From the Cellar might be their best event dollar for dollar. All older wines being poured from larger formats.
Paired well with the Short Ribs. My second favorite dish of the event.
