2013, tense and alive on first opening. Aromatic, orange rind notes, floral, boysenberry, medium + acid, long tannins. Day two, becomes more fruit forward but to be expected. Probably one of my favorite Turley vineyard releases.

When you farm great grapes, here's what you get! The Duarte vineyard provide fruit from Contra Costa vines planted between 1890 and 1930! Soft tannins, white cracked peppers, ripe blackberries and medium acidity.

We had the 2002 and the 2013 Zinfandel, from exactly the same Vineyard. Great wine, but too much food. Fun with Annette and Rod.
