Mar 25th, 2020Deep ruby in colour. On nosing, medium plus aroma of red currant, red berries, dried rose followed by herbal and green notes then polished leather. Also earthy, sweet spices like cloves and some dried fruits . Taste with similar flavours, medium acidity, high alcohol, medium and supple tannin, medium plus body and medium plus finish. Better with some decanting but no significant change in flavours. Felt like walking into a berry garden after rain with leather tools. Excellent wine.
