Really blossomed with air and a light chill. Dizzying Nebbiolo perfume: tar, roses, spice, dried flowers, deep dark cherry and melting road tar. The palate has serious concentration and grip, but stays nimble, sapid and elegant, with beautiful tannins right on the edge. Long, clinging finish. A great, honest Barbaresco, though a little warmth keeps it from the very top.

Spice. Wow. An insane nose. The real deal. Palate is so juicy, so concentrated, so pure and so refined. Wow. Amazing silkiness and sap. But the finesse and elegance here are top notch. Sappy red cherries and also cherry flower. Such sweet fruit. This is one of the top wines of 16. Wowsers. The level of refinement here is unreal. This is so open but has a hidden structure. Stunning. So sweet and silky. Profound and compelling. Maybe a 9.8.

Wow! What a beautiful beast !
Nose: blackberry liquor. So sweet and beautiful. Penetrating. So dense.
Palate: sweet blackberry. Silky texture. So good.
This lasts about 15 minutes in the glass. So pour small and drink quick.

N: Wow, ( I think this has been said) Big tar, blood, dark roses, piney forests, mushrooms, loam… yum.
P: Terrifically tense feel, velvet down the middle, tannic beastie, savory, tarry, licorice, has that wonderful lip smacking sanguine quality some bring out of Nebbiolo.A prized south facing Cru.
