Feb 19th, 2017A lovely nose dominated by tobacco and morello cherries. Palette is very consistent with the nose, but the extraction is not overly done. Good length and structure. Tannins are, for the most part, already resolved.
Should not have sequenced this after Papillion, but it's still very good.

1hr+ decant. Dark red color. Nose contains oak, dark cherries, anise, and a touch of vanilla. More dark cherries on the palate with some cinnamon and distinct V29 flavor. Medium depth and finish. Overall very nice!
