Hochäcker Blaufränkisch

Good Austrian red. - but I am still looking for something special

Fresh, enticing, full of character. Light cherries, damson plums, a touch of allspice, juniper, a whiff of iron.
On the palate light yet concentrated with fine grained juicy tannins, great purity & depth, plums, wild strawberries and sweet cherries... and long herby, minty, savoury finish.
Delicious stuff, and at 12.5% alc, highly drinkable.
