It’s been a year and half since my last bottle. This wine just speaks to me, always has. Blueberry compote nose. Blueberry pie, blackberry, ripe fruit, fantastic mouthfeel. So easy. So glad I bought a case and a half years ago, wish I had got more. Perhaps drinking better now than ever. Wish they still made this cuvée.

Nov 8th, 2025First bottle in a while. Nose is bit muted showing notes of plum and oak. Deep dark ruby colored. Ripe plum, with cassis and blue fruit briefly appearing mid palate, black licorice, pencil shavings, blueberry pie. Soft but grippy tannins. Holding together lovely and really growing into its age, with many years left. Lovely mouthfeel, enjoyable all around and easy drinking, showing once again why it’s a house favorite.

Nov 9th, 20222016 vintage, drank April 2022. This wine just continues to impress. Really wish they still made it. Black and red fruit blended so perfectly. Super smooth tannins now with just the right backbone to hold the oak, vanilla, leather, minerality, and dust together. Amazing finish! One of my favorites for sure.

Apr 8th, 20222016 vintage in November 2021. Same comments as before. But just wanted to say this is one of my favorite wines. The fruit is fantastic, the structure is solid, the mouthfeel and finish are solid. It’s just an amazing all around wine!
