My previous comments are still spot on. Absolutely incredible wine. Mouthfeel, nose, primary ripe blue and black fruit, secondary graphite, lavender, wet stone…balanced tannins and acidity…just drinking so good. Perfect with my grilled steak tonight. — 10 days ago

First time tasting the 2019 Bard. Big wine. Big ripe fruit - I’m getting mostly black with some red and hints of blue. Graphite. Lavender. Softened yet big chewy tannins. Acidity holding in strong at this point. Drinking well now with just a brief decant, but I can see this one really hitting a sweet spot in a few more years. — 11 days ago

Absolutely smoking PNP! Wow, will be fun to see this one develop over the next couple hours. But simply wonderful now. Very very dark in the glass. Blackberry preserves, camphor, wet graphite. Incredible mouthfeel, silky yet grippy tannins. Perfectly in tune now. Just a fantastically enjoyable wine! — 2 months ago

First bottle of the 2010. This is gonna be a really special wine but I think it need another 5-7 years. Tannins and softened, fruit is there, acidity is still strong, and don’t get me wrong it’s great now with a couple hour decant, but in a few years it’ll be really nice. Getting black, blue, and dark red fruit, ripe and juicy. Man so silky in the mouth. Graphite, stone, forest floor, cedar, hints of camphor, black licorice. Wonderful. Nice medium + finish. Really nice, only going to get better! — 7 months ago

Always prefer the Howell Mountain, but the Dunn Napa Valley I consider to be a great value, especially at the price these were a few years ago. Great fruit - black and red, minerality, graphite, pencil shavings, black licorice, great structure, nice finish. Solid all around and very nice for a ‘17. — 10 months ago
