The producer of this is actually Beau Vigne. Believe K. Venge was the wine maker then. If you had poured this upon release I would have said it was way too extracted and way too high in alcohol at over 15%!!
However, with 15yr age, the intense raspberry and strawberry jam has dropped and the alc has firmly kept the wines structure. Delicious and aging very well.
