Needs to blow off. Aromas of toasted oak and cherry with raspberry. Light mouth feel and medium finish. Definite notes of anise and slight acid. Did not really detect tannins. 2012 vintage.

Dark cherry and raspberry with notes of toasty oak and anise. Very light tannins and acid. This was a 2012 and was showing its age a little. I think a newer vintage would be better.

let this breathe alot, it brings the fruit forward with the oak keeps the richness and is more full bodied than the standard. Salute!
