Tough wine to understand . First thought was this is not a Pinot noir. It reads to me more like a cab sav. The color is quite dark red, the nose dark cherries or strawberries. Medium/full bodied with hints of oak and red fruit with a sweet to acidic finish. Quite drinkable but not quite a Pinot noir if that is what you are after. Much too heavy handed. I definitely think it is worth the money but I would pair it differently with foods that could support the strong mouth having drank it. — 5 years ago
