Tried for the first time. Jammy, not tannic, yet too much for pasta (tortellini—yes, I should’ve had a white); probably better with veal or pork. — 5 months ago
Spectacular with grouper. Bright, neither oaky nor buttery. — 7 months ago
This was the jewel of all of the wine options at this particular restaurant. Full-bodied, a bit fruit-forward; went well with both veal Marsala and lasagna. Bonus: the leftover wine, when corked and stored in the refrigerator, held up well for a week. — a month ago
Hugo’s Cellar has a great wine list! This one is a more fruit forward Cab, but not one that overpowers filet. — 5 months ago
Nice but needed to breathe a lot. Good with short rib. — 8 months ago
Spectacular with halibut. Nice balance of Chenin Blanc lightness/vanilla and Sauvignon Blanc fruit. — 4 months ago
Full-bodied bodied by not astringent. Fruit forward but not overly so. Great with filet. — 5 months ago
Very nice, dry but not too dry, smooth. Good with Veal Marsala. — 6 months ago
Agree with others’ comments including “chewy” and “lots of tannins left” yet fruit-forward. Kind of reminded me of a Meritage. Very nice with filet. Held up well; needed a little time to open. — 9 months ago

Perhaps this vintage needs another year in the cellar? Citrusy, closer to Sauvignon Blanc, still pleasant, particularly in warm weather. Paired well with chicken. — a month ago
