Great violet notes on the nose, delicate red fruit on the palate, finishes with some savory black olive brine, graphite and green bell pepper. A little surprised with how well integrated the alcohol is at 14.6%. Silky tannins make it an easy drinker.
Pretty much just an accessible fuller right bank Bordeaux style that isn't so over powering that a glass doesn't go down well on its own. I drank this while playing Settlers of Catan and you better believe I won. — 9 years ago
