This is the first wine I've rated where I stood right on the soil where it grew. Classic blackberrry-raspberry and strawberry jam aromas of domestic Zin but significantly more character and earth as it breathes in the glass. — 2 months ago
Super Rex - Basically an American Super Tuscan bursting with black cherry notes, strawberries, blackberries, and hints of spice. Delicious although not as intricate or elegant as its Italian counterparts. — 3 months ago
Raspberry and wild strawberry underlaid with earth notes. Not particularly complex but solid. — 5 days ago
The 2021 was a bit more interesting than this, so maybe this needs a couple years to mellow. Either way still a great QPR Chardonnay with notes of dried mango, butter, baking spices, and... — a month ago
Wild strawberry with hints of dried cranberries. Not super complex or going to replace Pinot Noir anytime soon but a fun alternative to Beaujolais. — 2 months ago
As good as any from this region, with the classic dolostone and Asian pear aromas. — 3 months ago
Interesting Syrah rose with notes of fresh watermelon, wild strawberry, and orange peel. Hit the spot as we transition to the brutally hot Phoenix summer.

Blueberry and cassis, bouquet of baking spice and maple syrup have this reminding me of blueberry pancakes. Not sweet though as the tannins from the Pennsylvania oak and cab shine through. As if breathes in the glass, earthy tones emerge including some charred pine and licorice notes. Very interesting wine. — 2 months ago
Renieri uses French and Slavonian oak on this, adding significant complexity unlike some of the modernizing producers. Dried cherry and cranberry on first pour but after breathing the leather, cigar box, and forest floor come through. Dramatic lengthy finish with characteristic tannins that make aged sangiovese interesting. — 3 months ago

Strong garrigue (sage and lavender dominate the herbal components), black pepper, and mineral aromas. Tinges of green tobacco, pink peppercorns, and dried chilies. Definitely one of the best GSMs I've had. — 5 days ago
