Ahh, Balsam underbrush, , ethereal aromas, transportive. Balance, integrated tannins. Beautiful . — 6 years ago
Camping with my daughter on Catalina island. I grew up in Colorado so the silver bullet and the banquet beer were staples in my family home. Heck I hit on Pete Coors daughter in high school, she turned me down more times than the sheets at the holiday inn. Ahh sweet memories. Did you know Coors was heavy into ceramics?? Go check it out. That’s you cliff Clavin fact of the day. Cheers! — 8 years ago

Ahh maxing! Beautiful dusty fruit on the nose (a friend said, "like grandma's couch... a good thing. "). Beautifully structured tannins that married with the red fruits- raspberries & spice box. — 9 years ago

Ahh, reminds me of Fridays back in Chicago @Roman Sukley always started with a white as we got organized. Often with one of these. Lemon, slightly tart, honey, and ends with a hint of earth. Grabbed at a local liquor store, I'll have to go back and grab a couple more bottles. Not a whole lot of choices here in Casper. WY. 2014. 14.5 ABV. With sockeye salmon on TJ's Lemon Pepper Papperdella on Valentine's Day — 9 years ago
Wow! Not sure if it was only the wine or the paring with our home made Dutch style savory macaroni (I know, sounds paradoxically) but the pairing blew our tops! This is why you drink wine. There is no such other experience to be had on this earth. Vibrant dry penetrating tannins in full harmony with dark fruit juice with under notes of tar and cedar took a hold of everyone of your senses. Kept you in a spell for minutes. Kept evolving. Ahh. Live can be great!! — 6 years ago

Cassis and blackberry with pepper. Thinner than expected with rich fruit. — 8 years ago
Ahh, the Humboldt Gold. Really enjoyable domestic Syrah. Dark fruits present but not sweet or dominating. Tons of savory notes / light smoke. Medium body with plus finish. Fine tannins. — 8 years ago
Liking this a lot on a rainy night in the cellar with Deano crooning classic Italian songs on the Victrola......ahh. Beautiful at the open, silky, few tanins remain, so good timing to be enjoying. Definitely dark fruit, but Linda gets a spice on the finish which I don't. — 9 years ago
