Tasting this Syrah made in Peru, young vineyards, I'm sure in time will surprise us, we pair it with Spaghetti (Tallarin) Saltado (like Peruvian Lomo Saltado without french fries & rice), second course, mixed salad, remember always give a opportunity to Peruvian wines, sure you don't regret, the pairing... excellent! Saludos

Santiago Chile — 6 years ago

I recall loving Roberto Henriquez’ Rivera del Notro white, but his 2018 País just blew my mind. After all, he is one of Chile's most promising young winemakers and largely responsible (alongside Luyt) for the resurgence of Pipeño, a derogatory slang for peasant wine generally made with the local País or Mission grape. Grapes for this wine were sourced from 200-year-old vines in Nacimiento, in the Bio Bio region, about 300 miles south of Santiago. Light-bodied, elegant and super drinkable 😋 — 7 years ago
Dark fruit, dry, not jammy or spicy — 7 years ago
Nicely balanced with both tangy brightness and crisp saline finish. Lots of ripe citrus and a little round peachiness on the mid palate. — 7 years ago
1 of 4,467 bottles. Brought to me from the Santiago wine club.
Bright alpine Berry nose mixed with morning foglets.
The wine attacks your tongue with spears of sharpness, then relaxes into a unsweetened, unripened stone fruit blend. Gritty tannins take hold of the space between my teeth and gum, and fill it with black tea tannins. At the very last gasp for breath, it exhales earth.

Best Albariño I’ve ever had. Bright with excellent depth and good acidity. — 3 years ago
Plenty of fancy cursive script here on the label. Great dark inviting color. Smells a bit like rocks by the riverside. Fruit is pretty buried. Not the biggest nose here. Flavors of fresh cut wood, cherry-berry juice, and some spice. Savory pork bar-b-Q too. Fresh, bright and likable Temp. This is a nice bottle for a nice price. Could drink it anytime. — 4 years ago
More body than typical Albariño. Good stuff. — 7 years ago
01/19/19- Had at blind wine blind party. Got #2 out of 7 red. Tasted good. Good finish. — 7 years ago
Blueberry and slate on the nose. Nice long and thick legs. Fruitcake upfront, with a pineapple note in the mid palate. Finishes with some heat and a beautiful tingling sensation on the tongue. Great first class of wine in Colombia! — 9 years ago
