Even at 13 years this is yet as powerful and robust as in its first years.
Loads of blackfruit and chocolate in the nose and some hints of tar.
In the mouth silky, long and a nice acidity to balance. It benefits btw from decanting as it is way better on day 2. — a month ago

Very light salmon pink taking on that orange hue. Aromatics are orange blossom, hibiscus, and lemon grass with some vanilla tying them neatly together. Flavor is citrus fruit and creamsicle with a brief stop on the mid palate for some tannins and then a sharp cleansing acidity. Goes very well with an elote risotto with chipotle chicken. — 9 months ago
