Tasting notes said green apple and ripe peach, definitely got the peach but more pear than apple. Regardless, it was delicious. — 7 years ago

Champagne was gift (brought from France). Excellent NV Champagne. Delicate mousse. 85% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Noir. Green apple, citrus, nuts, with touch of honey and chocolate. Nicely balanced. — 8 years ago
A pale shade of yellow initially in the glass. A hefty amount of teeny tiny bubbles, nice perlage. Lemon zest all over the nose complimented by jasmine and delicate cherry aromas. Chalk and dried herbs along with hot buttered toast.
Extra Brut with 2 g/l dosage, this is bone dry and mouth puckering delicious. Tiny production from Premier Cru vineyards in Hautevillers, Cumières, and Champillon, there is an irresistible quality to this champagne. Composed of the three main grapes, the fruit is certainly alive and the acidity is racy, which is just beautiful.
The palate is at times generous and lively. Plums, roasted nuts, and more lemons. As you give it time to open up more and more, you’ll experience brioche and a touch of white pepper. Maybe under the radar a little bit but not in quality. A really really nice bottle of bubbles here. — 2 years ago
No nose. Limey finish with a hint of sweetness and maple up front. — 7 years ago
Good value, fine champagne, 28£ from a private importer in London. Preferred over the Moët Rose that retails at 40£ approx — 10 years ago

Perfekt till Kobe. Sötman lirar perfekt med syran. Drickes väl kyld till ljudet av AC i 30-gradigt Sverige. Prisvärt är bara förnamnet. — 7 years ago

The Autreu house farms and raises the 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Meunier and 20 % Chardonnay premier cru grapes from beginning to end since 1670 in the Champilon region of Champagne. This beauty has a sharp bite to her and balances honey and a finish that surrenders to hazelnut for the win. Very great price as well and so much better than Veuve, but what isn't :) — 10 years ago
