Absolutely delicious. Last had a bit under 4 years ago and the age has served this well, though honestly this could use still more time. Opened for 3 hours and decanted for 1.5, which worked well. Beautiful dark aromatics on the nose. Intensity of fruit on the palate with a long acid driven finish. Tannins are still quite present but with pork chops with a mustardy sauce this paired nicely. Palate : dark but fresh cherries. Elegant spice.

Long finish.

Wow!

Do NOT DECANT this wine. Do not. It’s the best within like 10 minute sun the glass. Pour small amounts and drink and refill. It’s a big wine (2019) and best on pop and pour.

Nose is very welcoming. Hints of tobacco. Roasted plum. Plum skin.

Palate is sweet plum. Cherry. Delicious. Really sweet fruit. Chocolate. Good acidic balance

Very sexy texture. Really caresses the palate. Clings in a gentle but persistent way. Almost sensual.
