Rich pinot’s taste, red fruity. Lots of bubbles. Lower temperature might be better. Match with Beijing duck! Pehu Simonet Face Nord Brut Grand Cru Verzenay @1600, KPing X duck, 190604-190606 — 7 years ago
Quite impressive CDP, a bit young, but gave up pretty quickly. Nice treat in the middle of Beijing. — 9 years ago
Enjoyed this Saint-Estephe between Beijing and Dubai, on Emirates. Blackcurrant and cherry fruit, harmonious and elegant palate.

Not sure how this happened. Tuesday and drinking wine. Must be the phenomenal speed skating the Dutch are exhibiting in Beijing!!! Awesome to watch. And so was this wine! Funky spicy, medium body with distinct earthy notes. We visited Jessup Cellars this last summer celebrating our reunification with RoAnne, liberated from … yeah that is a another story. Lovely complement to round 2 of the Peking Duck taste off in Beijing. Better than Chateau Great Wall although not quite as adventurous ;-) — 8 years ago

Up and down many times.2 hours, matured flavor came out. Then ~3 hours. Don’t miss it. It should match with Beijing duck. Jérôme Chezeaux Les Suchots Vosne Romanee 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2012 @3100, Kping - 302, 210927-21022 — 5 years ago

Amazing Napa blend found in Beijing — 10 years ago
Delectable archivists, this wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon from Jerusalem Hills and Syrah from Galilee.
Goes well with Beijing style dumplings and spikes up the heat when paired with condiments of chili oil, dried pepper flakes, chopped fresh garlic, chopped cilantro, and black vinegar. — 10 years ago
Lots of fruit, blackcherry, blackcurrant, earthy, and sophisticated. Great balanced acidity and smooth chewey tannin brings the alcohol sweetened fruity flavour to life. Such an explosion! Had it with roasted lamb and Beijing duck. Happy Chinese New Year! — 11 years ago
Light. Pairs well with a roast duck in Beijing — 12 years ago
