Apparently the most regal Gaudichot out there of the limited producers that make this odd/interesting plot. Sadly I forgot to take notes, but I recall the minerality, sandalwood, red/black berry fruit. Rather complex. Reminded me of George Noellats Beauxmonts. Long finish and a friend commented that the finish was slightly cloying. — 8 years ago
Even in a just racked barrel sample this is soft and voluptuous but has loads of complexity. From 4 village plots on clay and stony soil. — 9 years ago
Awesome!! Dirty! Mushroom, cedar, gamey pinot with great Raspberry and bright cherry. Silky smooth and elegant. — 7 years ago

Not a classified area but lovely wine from an old orchard. Poor soil and steep so vines have to struggle. Dark fruits and very concentrated. Barrel sample. — 9 years ago
Pale ruby in color with a nose of potting soil, mushroom, and potpourri with a hint of cranberry. Light to medium body. Well balanced. Definitely earthy with cranberry notes on the long, pleasant finish. Bone dry. — 8 years ago

Perfume nose, dusty, meaty, cherry, nice tannin, smooth, mild acidity, mild chocolate — 8 years ago
Violet color. Raspberry and woody aroma (grilled raspberry would be suitable expression) . Initially felt fresh, like a juice, but later on getting deep with body feeling. Taste also includes violet and complexity. 2 hours decanting might be necessary. @5378, Uki-, 171202 — 8 years ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Medium lemon color with aromas of stone fruits, citrus and earthy flinty floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple and peach with citrus, balanced acidity, a hint reductive. Medium+ finish ending with fruit, citrus notes and a smoky mineral character. — 8 months ago
