Picked by my favorite cheese shop Scardello’s to accompany a cheese board. Agreed it was awesome with their cheeses, but not for times I want a champagne that gets my full attention. — 3 years ago

Beautiful NV champagne. Smoke, flint and pear on the nose. Flavors of black currant, pear, apple, ginger, honey, almond, lemon zest and brioche. Smoke and chalk on the finish. Nice balance, racy acidity and delicate mousse. — 6 years ago
Cut through a Blue Claw cheese dip wonderfully. Dry, small bubbled, lemon at first. A bit more creamy after an hour. — 3 years ago
Lots of red fruit and wet, nice but I prefer dry — 6 years ago

Bright beige gold. Persistent small bubbles and lingering white mousse. Shy nose but rich yet focused palate of lemon, cling peach, and yellow apple layered like a Matryoshka doll. Just a hint of toast in the juicy, mouth-watering acidity which more than compensates for the Sec-level dosage. Medium short, fruity finish. This is a top tier selection for almost anything from a group toast to an intimate seafood dinner. Drink it when you buy it typically, but you could probably hold onto it for a bit longer if it's a recent disgorgement. — 4 days ago
