There is a lot of oak on first impression but then a lovely hint of lemon and pineapple come through with some golden apple and a cleansing note of flint and wet stone. This is medium bodied and medium alcohol (13.5%abv) and very nicely balanced. Definitely new world with that ripeness but the minerality gives it added complexity. 1.5 oz. 100% agave Reposado Tequila
1.0 oz. Fresh squeezed lime juice
0.5 oz. Agave nectar
0.5 oz. Fresh squeezed orange juice.

Our friend described this as forest floor. Did have wet forest smells along with mushrooms, dry blackberry and raspberry with a slight musty funk. Felt like this bottle was just a touch sweeter (not dessert wine sweet just that the dark fruit had fermented a bit more). Good wine. — 5 years ago

Shout out to @Ron R on this great bottle of Tequila. Had it mixed in our home margarita recipe and on a stand-alone basis. While this makes for a great mix the standalone shows a soft vanilla and caramel that finishes with a velvet smooth texture. — 6 years ago
