Pale white with a hint of salmon pink. Flavors of lemon peel and grapefruit rind (yes, language is funny). Slightly tart in initial pour. Still assessing, let it open up a bit. Dilute lime emerges after an hour. Winery tasting notes mention that this is bone dry, with three vineyard components adding green apple, peach and red apple flavors. I get subdued flavors of the last two, especially red apple skin, but no malic acid or Granny Smith in this to my tasting. The zero residual sugar is impressive, as the high acidity makes for a great food wine here. 1368 cases made — 3 years ago
Wines from Navarro are so well balanced and this is no different. Ripe fruits, greats acidity and tannin levels with a smooth finish. Can’t go wrong. — 4 years ago
Nice acidity with fruit and residual sugar. Deep pink beauty! — 6 years ago
Well balanced with enjoyable floral notes and mild acidity — 6 years ago
A random bottle from a recent Fukubukuro offer from Navarro. 692 cases produced of the Grenache-Carignane blend. Reddish-pink, excellent clarity. Dry, medium-to-strong fine-grained skin tannin astringency, strawberry flavor with some guava, as accurately noted on their website. Tart strawberry and mineral finish with good acidity balance. A different style and flavor profile than most rosés - West Coast, French and Italian - I’ve tried in the last few years... — 7 years ago

Love it, enough body enough dry for chilling — 8 months ago
The last iteration of this varietal at Navarro, purple red, dense, moderate pigment extraction with about 1mm of tartaric crystals on the cork. Blueberry, cherry and plum notes in nose and mouth. Winery tasting webpage includes chocolate and pepper notes, which I found credible. Two hours after initial pour, I also got cola notes in the mouth. Light style, easy sipping, a pity as this is a long established varietal put out notably by Italian-American family wineries in Northern California during much of the 20th Century. 164 cases made. Well balanced and a perfect red table wine for autumn stews. Another cultural loss due to commercial decisions; wineries only make money and stay in business if you buy their wines, folks. — 4 years ago

Loved this so much we bought a case. Great for a hot spring day in California! Dry and crisp, fruity with an acidic finish. Very nice — 6 years ago
This is a new Pinot Noir for me and will become a go to. It is fruit forward (just how I like it), with a little mint and herbs. Better after some time to aerate. — 7 years ago
Este vino de Cuyo en Sudamérica está perfecto para las botanas. Muy frutal, muy gentil en el paladar, y un color a hemoglobina cautivante😋 — 7 years ago

High altitude Cab from Argentina. The color is inky red with a watery rim. Rich ripe dark fruit and oak scents. Time has served this wine well! The fore-pallet is again, fruit forward, velvety! The mid pallet has a great counter-balance composed of bold, oaky, and earthy flavors. The finish is long, slightly spicy, with strong tannings. Definitely a good wine; fruit is high but everything else falls right into place. — 6 years ago
