Surprisingly robust and fresh for a 2017. Aromas of baking spices, strawberries, hint of vanilla and subtle notes of oak. Flavours of strawberry, vanilla and spiced fruit cake with soft tannins and a vibrant acidity. Paired with roasted chicken thighs in a balsamic cherry sauce. — 2 months ago
Drinking beautifully. Elegant structure, silky tannins, slightly herbaceous complexity, some stewed fruit and chocolate. Paired with a grilled strip loin topped with our approximation of the famous French Tarragon sauce. Wonderful! — 2 months ago
Very aromatic and perfumy. The nose is light with tropical fruit and floral accents. Lighter palate, zippy with strawberry and jolly rancher watermelon flavours. We paired it with grilled salmon and veg summer bbq style. — 12 days ago

A substantial Gamay. Stewed plum colour with a nose of violets, potting soil and cherry nibs. Dry palate, silky mouth feel with hints of prunes, sour cherry and bell pepper and cedar. Very drinkable. — 2 months ago

Black cherry and plum, hints of dried fruit and prunes. Enjoyed with bbq chicken thighs and thyme roasted potatoes. — a month ago
Juicy, easy drinking Gamay with aromas of raspberry and cherry and hints of cherry, cranberry and red currant on the palate. — 2 months ago
Pleasantly surprised by this unusual blend for a rosé. Malbec and Montepulciano varietals present a nose with hints guava, and tropical flowers and clean minerality in the background. The palate has a bit of sour fruit qualities like papaya and a resting finish. — 2 months ago

We picked this wine up the first time we visited the Okanagan together 8 years ago. Tobacco notes have faded transitioning into something much more complex and nuanced. We had bought two bottles and you can see my original review back in 2016. 👃Nose: Bramble-berry, mushrooms, sage, violet petals, Rhubarb stewed with dark plums 👅Palate: cheeky, Christmas spice bomb. A lot of baking spice. Wilful tannins around the edges but silky and smooth. Will it open or fall after decanting? After an hour or two it’s gotten a little flabby in the middle but Jessica says it’s more “demure” and I need to respect just how good this Canadian Cab Franc from 11 years ago is. It’s outstanding, really. May have started its peak though. Paired it with a strip-loin topped with my attempt at the famous French tarragon sauce and grilled veg. — 6 days ago
