Dark black fruit and blueberry lead the fleshy palate along with notes of roasted nuts, black tea, balsamic vinegar and roasted herbs. Touch of pepper on the long finish. Easy drinking, plenty of red fruit, nice tannin structure from Cab. Tannins could mellow a few months more, but totally approachable now, mid-weight tannin. Being from one of my favorite regions, I find it hard to hold onto wines for long. — 4 years ago
