I give this a rather high ratings for my standards, it really came through in terms of what I was hoping g to get from it. A quite minerally, stony bony dry finish, yet a nice bit of funkiness and a raw feeling yet well made. Quite light, had it with seafood, paired really well IMO. — 6 years ago

Deep nose of dark berry fruits, dark cherry fruits and chunky earth and wet soil. Somewhat refined which is unusual for MDA. Palate is super concentrated and sleek. Good purity and concentration. Terrific refinement. Velvety tannins and superb finesse. Lovely tiny berry fruit intensity and length. Like if one of the polished traditional Rhone guys (Durand, Tunnel) made MDA. Lovely stuff and lots of upside. Gets more rustic and charming while retaining its sleek fruit. Stoney tannins. Very ripe. Terrific. — 5 years ago

Actually this is a very "cool" wine. Has a very clean and refreshing nose with a deep delightful finish. Drinking it is light and dry at first with a sudden burst of delicate flavors taking hold. I am alone at the Glasbern Inn having dinner after a long day on the road. This wine will go great with my duck breast main dish. — 9 years ago
