Intense, elegant, and complex. Dark fruits abound with hints of mocha. Be sure to recant for a few hours beforehand. — 6 years ago

Needs a 4 hour decant which I forgot to do before I left the house,
Next time. Wagyu Ribeye required
Seems very few have tried this one on delectable. Not worth release price of almost $300.00 but definitely worth an auction price for $125.00 — 3 years ago
15’ Aubert Ritchie. Best Ritchie I’ve enjoyed from Mark to date? 🤷🏻♂️ Medium + bodied. Beautifully balanced Chardonnay. White peach, splash of pineapple core, apricot, white toast, sprinkle in a bit of floral spices. 3 favorites from this vineyard are Château Boswell- Arista- Aubert. Cheers. -at BLT Honolulu, Hawaii — 7 years ago

Full lush yummy. The wine speaks for itself. — 8 years ago
One of the best rose I’ve tasted. The bouquet radiates with blackberry, raspberry, blood orange, red/black tea, and light fresh herbs. Medium body. Refreshing and smooth upon entry and build complexity and weight on the mid palate. Hint of tannins on the long finish.
Hallberg vineyard is about 100 acres spanning 3 AVA: Russian River Valley, Green Valley (itself is a sub AVA of RRV) and Sonoma Coast. Different bottlings might show different AVA on the labels. — 3 years ago
Smokey and rich. Plums and blackberries. Very nice but not quite as good as I was expecting. No reason to hold any longer. — 6 years ago
Rich, vanilla, fruit. From our Napa trip. Kelly and I both really enjoyed it. — 6 years ago

Full bodied Pinot. Philippe Melka is the winemaker. Black raspberry fruit. — 7 years ago
Some of the best fruit you can taste. Florals galore woven into concentrated blackberries, blueberries, dark cherries, black raspberries, black plum, raisins, with delicate dry soil, wet clay, crushed rocks, dry stone, dark spice with violets, hints of lavender and dark red florals. Amazing acidity and super elegant, ripe, well balanced wine. However, not as complex as the other reds we tasted.

Wow!!! Tasted this years ago at industry tasting at Chateau Boswell in Napa: it’s better than I remember. Arietta, Bevan, Barbour, Realm...you name it, they were there. I thought CORRA was the “Best of Show”!!! — 9 years ago

Oh how I love the 2011 Napa vintage!
The expressive nose is layered with cassis, blackberry, fig, violet, cedar, sage, and hint of loamy soil. The medium to full body is elegant, with almost perfect acidity that’s lively and precise - bright enough but never intrusive. Finely resolved tannins lead to a long savory yet lightly candied finish.
This is in its prime, yet has ample concentration and structure to hold plateau for another 5-8 years. — 23 days ago
