Frutoso, cítrico con ligeros tonos de madera, liguero al paladar. Color Rubi intenso. Blend perfecto para un costillar, acompañado con molleja y morcilla. Salu!!! — 8 years ago
Old world taste for this still relatively young wine — 9 years ago
Dining at Lago at Bellagio. Despite an eclectic tapas menu inclusive of bruschetta, caprese salad, tenderloin with peppercorn sauce, and linguine al pesto, this wine was a perfect choice. Fuller-bodied without being overpowering; slightly oaky with a nice minerality. — 6 years ago
muy seco, sabor fuerte pero se disfruta al tomarlo...como para una ocasión especial o para acompañar con un buen corte de carne :D — 7 years ago
Excellent! With or without food! — 9 years ago

Poured into an Amadeo decanter about 30min prior to service. The 2018 Val di Suga BdM “classico” is a combination of fruits sourced from the estates three vineyards: Vigna del Lago; Vigna Spuntali and Poggio al Granchio. The wine pours a deep ruby with a near opaque, transparent core and a watery rim. Medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, teh wine is developing with morello cherry, carnations, dusty earth, orange pith and leather. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannins and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and drying. This was my second time drinking the classico and I’m quite keen to try some of the single vineyard expressions in the future. Drink now with a short decant or through 2033 — a year ago
