60% Touriga Nacional
20% Touriga Franca
20% Tinta Roriz
Dark purple color, with a lot of earthy components. Floral notes with a wooden accents, vanilla, and dark ripened fruit. All with a bit of leather. Nicely balanced with just a medium tannin structure. A lot softer than the flavors and scents give off. I think it’s delicious, and the 2018 is drinking quite primely right now. — 4 months ago
The Crown Gap has never been my favorite from them. Still solid. Also, needs 3-4 more years in bottle to integrate. 91+ with that kind of age.
The Truffle Mac & Cheese was a big hit with the crowd, I’m allergic to mushrooms.
At Pebble Beach Food & Wine 2025
The ticket to this event has a pretty big price tag. But when you consider what a Napa etc. tasting or two and lunch would cost you, you are pretty much there and there is so much more than that. It ends up having great value. It’s wine, spirits and food candy land. — 4 months ago

I don't like Pinot Noir and this was awesome — 4 months ago
Always good. Sweet but balanced, with some interesting notes below the sugar. At Dena and Dan's. — 5 months ago

Champagne Pommery Brut Royale
Reims, France
Grapes are sourced from 40 selected villages in the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims and other areas in the Champagne region where the liveliness and delicacy of the chardonnay grape is enhanced by the climate.
On the nose; Lively, cheerful, fresh, light-hearted, fine, delicate and generous.
On the palate; Elegant, lively with some assertive notes of red fruits and rounded. Feels rich, delicate that lingers without overpowering. In short, a clean taste with no dryness. A very smooth wine which never wanes on the palate.
This is the essence of the Pommery style, liveliness, fresh, finesse and legacy as Madame Pommery created the Pommery Nature in 1874, the first brut champagne to meet with commercial success, thereby breaking with the tradition of very sweet wine.
Cheers to legacy and finesse! — 15 days ago
