Third largest Hermitage landowner. So they have quite the selection... This wine is from the oldest vines in Cornas and it's kick-ass. Very little in the way of stems. Really focused. Very polished but with a bit of an edge. Seriously impressive. — 8 years ago

86% Marsanne 14% Roussanne. I’m more of a Roussanne guy, but I like this a lot. It’s got a lot of that Roussanne subtle, waxy yellow fruit character I like, and the metallic/mineral character I get out of a lot of Marsanne-heavy whites seems quite subdued. It’s got a deep earthy whiff too. The Marsanne announces itself more on the palate, but it’s reined-in nicely. Nice freshness and minerality, as well. I love the wines this co-op makes (and the modest prices!). — 3 years ago
