Face à face contre la RSV de Hudelot-Noellat. À l’ouverture le nez est plus expressif que la RSV. Dès le service on remarque que la robe est nettement plus foncée. Un Bourgogne dune finesse incroyable. 1990. On est sur des arômes secondaires et de la vérité bien Kirchee. Tabac cacao en bouche pour un Bourgogne. Et tout cela en dentelle extrêmement fin. C'est incroyable de se dire qu'un vin aussi sensible et subtil a pu traverser les décennies comme cela. — 6 years ago

We had outdoor diner at Union Square Cafe, and this wine was a threat. Relatively open for its age, floral and with hints of spices, medium bodied and very elegant Volnay, “en dentelle” as the french say. Great wine and highly recommended.
