Last night I opened the 2021 Dog Point Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand.
On the nose there is pungent up front in your face grapefruit, lime, gooseberry, melon, asparagus, flunty notes and minerality.
On the palate are nice grapefruit, lime, white peach, gooseberry, melin, guava and minerality.
This wine is light to medium bodied with a fresh clean fleshy mouthfeel medium + to high acidity that has a long citrus grapefruit finish. I hope everyone's weekend has been an eventful one. Please have a great week ahead and stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂 — 3 years ago

Small producer, the Melin family have owned Domaine la Soufrandise, located in the heart of Fuissé, since the 1850s. Pale lemon with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and honey floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple, melon and lemon citrus with notes of honey and nutty oak. Medium+ finish, vivid acidity and ends with minerality. Nice! Will age a bit! — 4 years ago

The outstanding 2022 Bordeaux vintage is widely regarded as the vintage of the decade. This wine shows fine structure, firm tannins, vibrant fruit, and a persistent finish.
It is already showing beautifully, but it has the potential to evolve gracefully over the next few years.
