Raspberry is prevalent in the nose and at the front plum following with a mild spice finish. Definitely fruit forward and off dry/semi sweet. Pairs well with prosciutto, beef, and port salut. — 6 years ago

Cortona- what a fun place! Didn’t realize there was Syrah coming out of there. You would know this is Tuscan if I blindfolded you... plenty of barnyard funk, dark cherry, and a little velvety chocolate on the nose. It presents itself on the tongue like highly carbonated cola, then dissipates and gives way to plum, chocolate, nutmeg, and great wooly bully tannins. Salut! — 7 years ago
