Rich purple, good tannins, boozy old smell — 7 years ago
Isn’t #bandol one of the most reliably fantastic appellations in France? This is delicious, one of those interesting wines that sits back introverted on the nose, touch of strawberries, faint garrigue aromas but palate overdelivers with serious weight, details of watermelon, strawberry, spicy garrigue with some bitter blood orange pith on the juicy finish. The ripeness is still nicely balanced. What a major upgrade to Provençal rosé! — a year ago
The Bandol Longue Garde 2000 from Le Galintin is really fun with air. Nice balance of floral, earthy, barnyard, fruit. Had a little stanky in my dranky! Cc: @winecultproject — 12 years ago
Solid Rosè. Cold is best. But smooth all the way. Recco this wine. — 2 years ago
Loved this! Acid and peaches with a bit of cream. Super tasty. — 3 years ago

Thanks to my brother for this. Inky, blueberry, plum, and leather. Tannins provide backbone. My only quibble is there isn’t a whole lot on this nose. Enjoyable. Had it with garlic/ wine braised short ribs over polenta. Went great. I think this is the time to open these — 17 days ago
