Sylvia Esmonin's 06 Gevry Chambertin- young as ever, tannins softened, but the wine itself doesn't show many signs of age. Bold dark boysenberry or Marionberry is indicative of her late picks that have somewhat of a cola type finish. — 9 years ago
Red cherries, wet gravel, flowers, minerals. Delicious on a rainy day. Acidity was a little bit much in the end. — 12 years ago
Mellow and nice with my sea bass. — 12 years ago
2010 - La douceur d'une jolie fille mais la tenacité d'une grande dame. Quel beau vin. Parmis mes top 5 des vins blanc. Riche et gouteux. Du chardo comme on les aiment. — 13 years ago
[NOTE TO WINE IDENTIFIER- this is the Champs Claude] 2023/4/1 with Aleppo walnut and pepper meze, pan roasted beef, etc. This started off somewhat hard and shut down, with very prominent acid and some tannin. There was also noticeable brett. With an hour or two, it became more expressive aromatically (earthy fruit and a small hint of tertiary development), and fruit returned on the palate. The brett also receded significantly. — 3 years ago
This guy is from Auxey and lesser known producer (from Prunier family Michel apparently is more consistent). I found this wine little more robust with medium-high tannins. I don't know if this is all sourced from Auxey. If it is I like it — 9 years ago

2012 BLANC. More earth and mineral from old vine sap. Airy and sea salt. Juicy and ripe with pineapple and exotic fruits. Round on palate and fat. Nice complexity. — 12 years ago
