Wow. This was a truly profound wine. How such lightness and great depth can exist hand in hand is a real conundrum. A beautiful nose of honeyed spring flowers along the Loire - as long as sin and refreshing as a cold bath in a still river at dusk. Vintage 1997 | Tasted blind, after unwrapping I saw it stood next to Moulin Touchais. A unique opportunity to taste the two next to each other. This is true to type Chenin Blanc, with a beautiful smell that consist of Turkish Fruit, hay, honey, impressions of ananas and tangerines. Awesome balance, very vibrant and elegance. I adore this wine. Dutch bottling. 25 years old without signs of becoming too old. — 3 years ago
